20/04/2012 - Virgin Media Shorts - 2012 Round Open

Virgin Media Shorts is a short film competition that champions undiscovered talent in the UK.  The competition gives applicants the chance to show their work in cinemas, on TV, online and on mobiles (via the mobile Internet).

The following is available:

• Thirteen film-makers win a chance to show their work on more than 200 cinema screens nationwide.
• One winner wins £30,000 to make their next film.
• One 'People's Choice' winner will be awarded £5,000 worth of new film kit, along with the college or school with the most entrants.

Applications must be submitted by 12 July 2012.
